Gold Leaf Tax Service LLC (GLTS) is a trusted, full-service tax and business solutions firm owned by Tresia Hassan. GLTS proudly serves individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses with services including income tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll administration, and business compliance.

Tresia opened Gold Leaf Tax Service in 2018 after gaining extensive experience with large franchise tax companies and working as a tax preparer in Topeka, Kansas. Her journey in tax preparation began early—introduced to the profession in 1973 by her father, a seasonal tax preparer—laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to helping others understand and manage their taxes.

The mission of GLTS is to provide professional, reliable services while educating the community on how taxes work and why accurate bookkeeping is essential to long-term financial health, especially for business owners.

Prior to COVID, GLTS expanded into remote tax preparation, allowing military and out-of-area clients continued access to services. This included the introduction of a secure MyTaxPortal for document uploads, along with remote review and electronic signatures.

In 2025, GLTS officially expanded to include accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and business compliance services—an organic growth driven by client demand. What began as bookkeeping support evolved into payroll processing, withholding payments, W-2 and 1099 filings, and guidance on business formation including LLCs, LLPs, S-Corps, corporations, and nonprofits.
